Homes for Heroes connects eligible buyers and sellers with participating real estate specialists. I am a registered affiliate based in Odon, and I fund your reward from a portion of the commission I earn helping you buy or sell.
You go through a normal real estate transaction with me, with the reward terms explained in writing before anything is signed. After closing and processing, Homes for Heroes mails your Hero Rewards check directly to you.
Enrollment is free. Normal transaction costs and the standard real estate agreements still apply, and I will walk you through every one of them.
On a $300,000 sale. Although it may vary, a typical reward is 0.7% of the sale price. It is a check, not a closing-cost credit, and there are no restrictions on how you use it.
Amounts vary based on the services used, sale price, and the commission on the transaction. This is an illustration, not a guaranteed payment. I will explain the applicable reward and disclosures for your transaction before you commit to anything.

Receive your check
After closing and processing, Homes for Heroes sends your reward once the transaction paperwork and payment are complete.

Who pays for the reward?
I do, from a portion of the commission I receive for helping you buy or sell. Homes for Heroes processes it and mails the check.
Is enrollment free?
Yes. There is no enrollment fee and nothing to pay for the program. Buyers and sellers still have normal transaction costs.
Can both buyers and sellers participate?
Yes. Eligible heroes may participate when buying or selling with me through the program. Planning both? Ask me how that works.
Do I receive the money on closing day?
No. The check comes from Homes for Heroes after closing and processing. Timing depends on receipt of the required documents and referral payment.
Does a school or employer need to do anything?
No. A school can simply share the information with staff. I handle employee questions, enrollment, and coordination directly.
